Our pricing is the same for each birthday party package we do, however we also include any additional expenses in the quoted price (mainly travel fees for those far to reach areas). If you're interested in having Jake perform at your child's birthday party, get in-touch today for a quick quote!

For birthday party shows we like to stay local to the Gold Coast, QLD.

However, if you do live further away that's not to say we won't do it, get in-touch with us and we will see what we can do for you!

Indoors is highly recommended however outdoors can also work as long as it is a shady and undercover area where weather won't be an issue.

We don't take bookings for open public spaces such as parks due to weather being unpredictable leading to a high chance of last minute cancellations.

Birthday show pricing stays the same regardless of how many people attend, however, if there are more than 35 kids a small additional charge may apply to our 1 hour party package to cover the expense of the balloon animals.

We can perform for 5 or 500 guests. We even have a larger stage show available if you are planning a bigger event (see our special events page for more info).

Absolutely! Both birthday children will become stars of the show.

No Jakes shows do not feature any live animals.

The best time is 30 minutes into the party, so everyone has a chance to arrive.

Here's an easy way to organise the party:

First 30 minutes - kids arrive, having a game or activity to do is a great ice-breaker and gets the party fun going.

Magic Show - Jake arrives, sets up the show and is good to go. you can sit back and relax for the next 40-60 minutes, we got it covered from here.

Food & Cake time - after the show is a great time to serve food & refreshments. After everyone is done eating bring out the cake and sing happy birthday.

Presents & Party Bags - wrap up the party by letting the birthday child unwrap their gifts and get the party bags ready to hand out as kids are leaving.

Jakes big tricks like floating tables, sawing children in half and shooting magic bunnies out of cannons isn't a part of his birthday options.

Those tricks are left for his bigger shows at larger events, which takes an hour or so to set-up. However if you are planning a party at a large venue then of course you can enquire about our illusion show, there's more information on that in the 'special events' page.

Yes, yes and yes!

Jake is insured for $30,000,000 for your peace of mind, has a current working with children's check and an ABN, all of which can be sent to you directly when you get in-touch with us.

Here's a quick 3 step guide to have the show run smoothly as possible:

1) The Arrival - Jake will arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, please let us know where the best place to park is if it is not easily accessible.

2) The Set-up - Find a room indoors to host the show where Jake can set-up and perform the the kids, a 2x2 metre area is enough for the performance space, most lounge rooms work well. Move any large furniture and any fragile items to the side for an open performance space.

NOTE: We can perform the show outdoors as long as it is a nice shady undercover area however indoors works best.

3) The Show - It's Showtime! Time to bring the kids in and get them seated on the floor. You can now sit back and relax while the kids have the time of their lives.
